Waheguru ji ki fateh.
Dasam Granth has not been discarded entirely, but also it does not has the same place as Guru Granth Sahib ji.
Guru Gobind Singh ji Sahib, personality can never be penned down by anyone, but Guru Sahib himself never ever thought to give Dasam Granth the same status as Guru Granth Sahib, if you look meticulously then, there are 1430 pages in Guru Granth Sahib ji, where as there are only 1428 pages in Dasam Granth. Guru Sahib when writing Dasam Granth wrote less shabad then then what are present in Guru Granth Sahib ji.
The question is why such a wealth of wisdom is ignored by us, I think we all know the answer. But if we all Guru kai lal (Gursikh) joined together then we can all help each other in understanding Gurbani ji. Since we all have to read and understand from Guru Granth Sahib ji.
